Soho Kitchen Studio Inc. specializes in selling kitchen and bath cabinets and designs and is currently looking for friendly, creative, and talented Kitchen & Bath designers who can work in both Irvine, CA and City of Industry, CA.

Main responsibility is providing sales consultation and design services for our customers . As a representative for a leading provider in custom cabinets and kitchen remodels in the LA and OC area, you will be tasked with taking our customers visions/ideas to create their dream kitchens and baths.

• Perform scheduled or walk-in consultations to customers and/or contractors to review design ideas and cabinet needs, as well as follow-up consultations
• Work in the showroom and provide expertise and sell our custom cabinets and furnishings
• Learn and Maintain knowledge of all Soho Kitchen Studio products and services
• Establish and maintain client and potential client relationships
• Use digital design software to create designs and visualizations for customers
• Make adjustments and modifications to design based on customer input
• Create digital presentation boards with Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, or etc.
• Coordinate and communicate with fellow employees to accomplish work needed to close sales
• Present final design packet and close sales
• Any additional duties assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree or Some College Coursework
• 2+ years of college level education in design and/or sales is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills is preferred.
• Familiarity with digital design software such as 20/20, AutoCad, Sketch-Up, 3dMax, etc is advantageous.
• Familiarity with photo-editing and presentation software such as In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc is advantageous.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations is preferred.
• Strong sales skill set (ability to persuade and influence) with drive to win the marketplace is advantageous.
• Passion for design with a creative mind is preferred.
• Amiable personality and/or willingness to work closely with other employees is preferred.
• Ability to take initiative and willingness to work a flexible schedule within the company is preferred.
• Work may require local traveling to clients and potential clients, this requires possession of a valid state issued drivers license and knowledge of traffic laws.
• Conversational Chinese or other Asian language and/or understanding of Asian culture to better server Soho Kitchen Studio’s largely Asian customer demographic is advantageous.

Soho Kitchen Studio Inc. is a licensed contractor that started out specializing in kitchen and bath cabinetry. We have now grown to accomodate both commercial and residential remodeling. Our specialty is in modern, contemporary, and European style design. We offer a one-stop service for all remodeling needs from conception too construction.

We are currently looking for friendly, talented drafter who can work in both of Soho Kitchen’s Irvine, CA and City of Industry, CA Locations. We will be opening a new office and warehouse location in Industry, CA in 2017.The drafter’s main responsibility is to prepare detail plans for residential remodels. These tasks include, but are not limited to the following primary responsibilities.

• Assist and coordinate with senior-level designers in developing space planning and layouts for various projects. Provides working technical drawings for craftsmen and contractors. Draft 2D and/or 3D visualizations of designs using design software.
• Assist with digital presentations for clients using software such as Sketch-Up and PowerPoint.
• Learn knowledge of all Soho Kitchen Studio products and services.
• Research cost estimates and select materials and fixtures for projects.
• Provide customer service support for walk-in customers and/or contractors.
• Establish and maintain client relationships
• Make adjustments and modifications to existing designs based on customer input.
• Assist with quotations and estimates for potential clients.

• 2+ years of college level education in interior design.
• 2+ years of related work experience in kitchen and bath remodeling.
• Advanced knowledge of digital sketching, rendering skills, and experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Sketch-Up.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to amiably coordinate and communicate with fellow employees.
• Ability to take initiative and willingness to work a flexible schedule within the company.
• Familiarity with software such as 20/20, Revit, 3DMax, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency at architectural drawings of buildings and details.
• Knowledge of materials and design standards for kitchen and bath design is a bonus.
• Knowledge of construction and plumbing is a bonus.
• Passion for design with a creative mind.
• Conversational Chinese or other Asian language and/or understanding of Asian culture to better server Soho Kitchen Studio’s largely Asian customer demographic is preferred.
